-

Sergei Bobrovsky made 54 saves, Matt Calvert scored the winner 12: 22 into overtime and the Blue Jackets overcame two goals from Alex Ovechkin to beat the host Capitals 5- 4 in Game 2 on Sunday to take a 2- 0 lead in their first- round playoff series.

Calvert’s goal held up after the NHL reviewed the play for a possible offside. Calvert was just onside when Josh Anderson brought the puck into the zone.

Bobrovsky, entered these playoffs 3- 10 with a 3.73 goals- against average and .887 save percentage but has now stopped 81 of 88 shots through two games.

Wild earn first win of series

Mikael Granlund and Zach Parise scored power- play goals in the first period, and then the Wild erupted for four goals in the second period to secure a 6- 2 victory over the Jets, who still lead the series 2- 1.

The Wild set a franchise postseason record for goals in a home game. Their high came in a 7- 2 victory at Vancouver in 2003.

The blizzard that blanketed the Twin Cities forced the Jets’ charter flight to land in Duluth on Saturday afternoon and return to Winnipeg for the night. The Jets arrived Sunday about eight hours before faceoff.

Pens roll in Game 3

Sidney Crosby matched a postseason- best with four points on a goal and three assists to help the Penguins silence the raucous crowd and beat the Flyers 5- 1 for a 2- 1 series lead.

Evgeni Malkin and Brian Dumoulin scored second- period goals that were five seconds apart, matching a Stanley Cup Playoffs record. ( The Red Wings scored two goals in five seconds against the Blackhawks in 1965).

Vegas takes 3- 0 series lead

James Neal and William Karlsson scored goals 19 seconds apart in the third period to lift the visiting Golden Knights past the Kings 3- 2 to take a 3- 0 series lead. Marc- Andre Fleury made 39 saves for Vegas.
