-

Dwyane Wade delivered a turn- back- the- clock performance, scoring 28 points to lead the visiting Heat to a 113- 103 victory Monday against the 76ers in Game 2 of their first- round playoff series.

The result enabled the Heat to even the series 1- 1 and snapped the 76ers’ 17- game winning streak — 16 in the regular season and one in the playoffs. The 76ers hadn’t lost sinceMarch 13 against the Pacers.

Playing their 10th consecutive game without injured center Joel Embiid — who posted on Instagram that he is ‘‘[ bleeping] sick and tired of being babied’’ after sitting out despite being cleared from the concussion protocol — the 76ers nearly pulled off an epic comeback and cut a 16- point deficit to two late in the fourth quarter.

ButWade, 36, made two big baskets down the stretch to keep the 76ers at bay and send the series back to Miami all even.

For most of the game, Wade played like he did in his glory days. He made his first seven shots and single- handedly outscored the 76ers 15- 13 in the second quarter. He finished 11- for- 17 from the field and 6- for- 8 from the line.

Goran Dragic added 20 points for the Heat. Ben Simmons scored 24 points and Dario Saric 23 for the 76ers.

TheWarriors scored 69 points in the second half after being held to 47 in the first.
