FBI: MASKED DUO USED AK- 47 TO ROB BANK
Two masked people armed with an assault rifle robbed the NorStates Bank Branch Tuesday at 5384 Grand Ave., according to the FBI.
One of the suspects, who was seeing in surveillance photos brandishing an AK- 47 assault rifle, was described as a 6- foot, 175- pound white man, the FBI said. He was seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants, black Jordan brand sneakers with a red sole and a red face mask.
The other suspect was described as a white female, approximately 5- foot- 6 and weighing 200 pounds, the FBI said. She was seen carrying a black duffle bag and wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants, black shoes and a red face mask.
They were seen driving off in a blue Nissan Rogue that was manufactured between 2015 and 2018, the FBI said.

Authorities: 3 found dead inWinfield died of ‘ sharp force injuries’
Three people found deadMonday at a west suburbanWinfield home died of multiple ‘‘ sharp force injuries,’’ according to authorities.
Officers responded at 6: 07 a. m. to a home in the 500 block of Jefferson Street when a concerned citizen called 911 after looking through a window and seeing two people “who appeared to be injured,” Winfield police said. Officers found the bodies after forcing entry to the home, police said.
They were identified on Tuesday as Nancy Clinkenbeard, 77; Clyde Clinkenbeard, 76; and Karl Clinkenbeard, 50, according to the DuPage County coroner’s office. All three lived at the home. Matthew Hendrickson
Burglars grab $ 50K in Louis Vuitton merchandise
Burglars drove an SUV into a storefront Tuesday morning at a west suburban mall and grabbed more than $ 50,000 in designer handbags and luggage.
The earlymorning heist took place at the Louis Vuitton store, located in the southeast corner of Oak Brook Center, police said.
About 3: 20 a. m., mall security informed Oak Brook police that a white GMC Terrain was slammed into the store’s front door to gain access, police said.

18- year- old man shot outside middle school inWest Pullman
A man was wounded in a shooting Tuesday afternoon near Jesse Owens Community Academy in theWest Pullman neighborhood.
The 18- year- old was standing outside about 3: 45 p. m. in the 12300 block of South State Street when another male walked up and fired at him, Chicago Police said.
The man was struck in the hand and took himself to MetroSouthMedical Center in Blue Island, police said. His condition had stabilized. Sun- TimesWire
