Bears going back to school

The Bears will hold their Aug. 22 preseason practice at Vernon Hills High School at 6 p. m. The team expects to have about 5,000 tickets available through their website. The Bears held practices at Warren Township and Prospect High School in recent years. Also, the annual Family Fest practice at Soldier Field is canceled this year because of the Hall of Fame Game on Aug. 2.
