-

Tuesday’s results

Group C: Peru 2, Australia 0. Group C: Denmark 0, France 0. Group D: Croatia 2, Iceland 1. Group D: Argentina 2, Nigeria 1.

Wednesday’s games

Group E Serbia vs. Brazil, 1 p. m., Fox- 32. Switzerland vs. Costa Rica, 1 p. m., FS1. Group F South Korea vs. Germany, 9 a. m., FS1 Mexico vs. Sweden, 9 a. m., Fox- 32.

Wednesday’s scenarios

Group E: Brazil and Switzerland have four points apiece, Serbia has three, and any of them could grab one of the group’s two spots in the knockout stage. Serbia likely needs a win. Costa Rica has been eliminated.

Group F: Mexico leads with six points but isn’t safe yet. If defending champion Germany and Sweden both win, three teams would finish with six points. That would send it to tiebreakers that start with the best goal differential. If Mexico and South Korea win, Mexico would top the group and the other three teams would be equal on three points.

Thursday’s games

Group G Japan vs. Poland, 9 a. m., FS1 Senegal vs. Colombia, 9 a. m., Fox- 32. Group H England vs. Belgium, 1 p. m., Fox- 32. Panama vs. Tunisia, 1 p. m., FS1.

Round of 16 ( Fox- 32) France vs. Argentina, 9 a. m. Saturday. Uruguay vs. Portugal, 1 p. m. Saturday. Spain vs. Russia, 9 a. m. Sunday. Croatia vs. Denmark, 1 p. m. Sunday.
