1 killed in Lincoln Park crash

A person was killed in a crash earlyMonday in the Lincoln Park neighborhood.

A male, age unknown, was fatally injured when a Nissan Altima he was driving crashed into the rear of another car at 3: 33 a. m. in the 600 block ofWest North Avenue, according to Chicago police.

The Altima struck the back of a 2008 Acura driven by a 32- year- old man that was stopped at a stoplight, pushing it into the intersection, police said.

The 32- year- old was not injured. The driver of the Altima was taken to Illinois MasonicMedical Center with head trauma and was pronounced dead, police said.
