But quarterback Adrian Martinez was intercepted on the Cornhuskers’ next possession before they turned the ball over on downs on their last three. Martinez, a true freshman, threw for 323 yards and ran for 91 more.

Scottie Stevens scored on a 16-yard run on the Hoosiers’ first possession, and Logan Justice kicked a 44-yard field goal on their last possession of the half as they built a 24-7 lead.
Rutgers threatened in the fourth quarter, cutting its deficit to a 24-17 on a one-yard touchdown run by Jonathan Hilliman and a 52-yard field goal by Justin Davidovicz. But Ramsey, who was 27-for-40 for 288 yards, completed a 25-yard pass to Peyton Hendershot from the Hoosiers’ 34 to ice the game in the closing minutes.
