JOINT RESTORATION

Don’t Remove & Replace instead Restore and Regenerate

-

Over 50 million Americans (1 in 5) suffer from arthritis and chronic pain, making it the number one cause of disability in the country. Additionally, there were 860,000 reported knee and hip replacement in 2017 and it is projected that by 2030 the number will increase by 171%. Lastly, in 2017 there was almost 58 opioid prescriptions written for every 100 Americans and overdose death was 5 times higher in 2017 than in 1999.

What does all this mean?

Consider the facts and more importantly consider alternative options that are safe and effective but do not preclude the surgical alternative. Understand that there is no magic wand, if it sounds to good to be true it probably is. It is suggested to take the time to meet with a medical provider to discuss all the options, including surgery, and then make an educated and informed decision.

The reality:

Lets face it, your joints are not as young as they us to be, whether you a millennial or a baby boomer. Maybe joint pain keeps you from being able to function pain free on a daily basis or exercise as aggressively as you would like to. There is nothing worse than feeling great mentally, but feeling held back physically.

What is Joint Restoration?

Joint Restoration is proprietary treatment algorithm developed by the medical staff at Pain Relief Institute (PRI). The overlying goal is to improve the patient’s joint function while decreasing or eliminating pain. Allowing patients of all ages a healthier more active lifestyle. The treatment commonly includes one or a combination of the following treatment options based on each patients specific condition: Bone Marrow Concentrate (stem cell therapy), Amniotic derived biologics (high concentrations of growth factors), Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP and PRP+), Joint Lubrication (via hyaluronic acid), extended release cortisone (safe for diabetics), physical therapy, stabilizing braces, laser therapy and participation in clinical trials and patient efficacy programs.

Why Joint Restoration?

• Seeking a safe & conservative solution

• Exhausted traditional pain management options

• Looking to avoid surgery or joint replacement

• Having side effects from pain medications

• Patient has had other failed surgeries

• Looking to maintain active lifestyle

Patient efficacy participants needed: PRI is conducting a patient efficacy outcome program involving PlateletRich Plasma (PRP). Patients must meet the qualifying inclusions and agree to participate in timely health surveys to monitor outcomes. Platelets are found in the patients blood and are attained via a blood draw and then concentrated to be reintroduced back into the affected tissue (or injured area) initiating a natural healing cascade.

FDA consumer alert:

On September 3, 2019 the FDA released its third consumer alert in the past couple of years warning consumers of deceptive practices by “unscrupulous providers”. The FDA advised to be safe and make sure any treatment you are considering is either:

• FDA approved, or;

• Being studied under an Investigational New Drug Application (IND) The regenerative biologics used by PRI either have an IND submitted or are in communications with the FDA for submitting for an IND.

Is Joint Restoration Right for you?

The best way to determine if this unique treatment is right for you is to be seen by a medical professional at PRI. The initial visit is covered by Medicare and most insurance. Thereafter either part or the entire treatment may also be covered for qualified patients. To schedule an appointment place call: 847-243-6095.
