THE CHEAT SHEET

-

BEARS at EAGLES

Time: Noon, Fox-32.

Line: Eagles by 5. Total: 42. Records (overall/ATS): Bears 3-4/2-5; Eagles 4-4/3-5. Outlook: The Bears think they’re close to breaking out, but after three consecutive disappointing weeks, we’ll have to see it to believe it. Their improved run game against the Chargers might be a good sign or just a blip against a team missing two of its best interior defenders. And Mitch Trubisky has to show a lot more than he has to believe the Bears are right there.

Pick: Eagles 23, Bears 16.

TEXANS at JAGUARS

Time: 8:30 a.m., Wembley Stadium, London, NFL Network Line: Texans by 1½. Total: 46. Records (overall/ATS): Texans 5-3/4-4; Jaguars 4-4/5-3. Outlook: The Texans were dealt a huge blow when All-Pro defensive end J.J. Watt suffered a seasonending torn pectoral muscle last week against the Raiders. The Jaguars are motivated to stay in contention in the AFC South and comfortable with the trip.

Pick: Jaguars 24, Texans 23.

COLTS at STEELERS

Time: Noon, Ch. 2.

Line: Colts by 1½. Total: 42½. Records (overall/ATS): Colts 5-2/4-2-1; Steelers 3-4/4-3. Outlook: The Colts’ home victory against the struggling Broncos wasn’t pretty, but it was one of their more impressive wins. They found a way to win when they weren’t playing well, scratching for Adam Vinatieri’s 51-yard field goal in the final minute. While the unbeaten 49ers are the surprise team in the NFL, it looks as though the Colts have the Reich stuff. Pick: Colts 20, Steelers 17.

TITANS at PANTHERS

Time: Noon.

Line: Panthers by 6½. Total: 54½. Records (overall/ATS): Titans 4-4/3-4-1; Panthers 4-3/4-3. Outlook: Ryan Tannehill has given the Titans the boost they were looking for, with five TDs, one INT and ratings of 120.1 and 109.8 in victories against the Chargers and Bucs. The problem with boosts like that is you never know when Tannehill is going to revert to form. Pick: Panthers 24, Titans 17.

JETS at DOLPHINS

Time: Noon.

Line: Jets by 3. Total: 41½. Records (overall/ATS): Jets 1-6/2-5; Dolphins 0-7/3-4. Outlook: The Dolphins took a 14-0 lead against the Steelers and predictably blew it. With four other teams with one or zero victories, they’re getting more competition for the No. 1 pick than they probably expected.

Pick: Jets 34, Dolphins 17.

REDSKINS at BILLS

Time: Noon.

Line: Bills by 9½. Total: 37. Records (overall/ATS): Redskins 1-7/3-5; Bills 5-2/4-3.

Outlook: Playing the Patriots closer than anybody else (a 16-10 loss at home in Week 4) is still the Bills’ best performance this season. They figure to bounce back after flopping last week.

Pick: Bills 27, Redskins 20.

BUCS at SEAHAWKS

Time: 3:05 p.m.

Line: Seahawks by 6. Total: 51. Records (overall/ATS): Bucs 2-5/2-5; Seahawks 6-2/3-5. Outlook: Seahawks typically are tough at home under Pete Carroll (53-19 SU/45-26-1 ATS) but are 2-2/0-4 this season. They might get caught looking ahead to the 49ers next week in San Francisco. Pick: Seahawks 31, Buccaneers 23.

PATRIOTS at RAVENS

Time: 7:20 p.m., Ch. 5.

Line: Patriots by 3½. Total: 45½. Records (overall/ATS): Patriots 8-0/6-2; Ravens 5-2/2-5. Outlook: The unbeaten, mostly dominant Patriots laying only 3½ looks awfully tempting, even with the daunting hook. The Ravens usually play the Patriots tough, but they’re 0-3 ATS at home.

Pick: Patriots 31, Ravens 27.

COWBOYS at GIANTS

Time: 7:15 p.m., Monday, ESPN. Line: Cowboys by 7. Total: 48. Records (overall/ATS): Cowboys 4-3/4-3; Giants 2-6/3-5. Outlook: The Cowboys are 4-4 SU/5-3 ATS off a bye under Jason Garrett. In a tight race, they should be on-point against the rival Giants, especially if the Eagles beat the Bears on Sunday.

Pick: Cowboys 34, Giants 20.
