Dillon wins NASCAR race in Texas

Austin Dillon stayed in front after a restart with two laps to go and beat rookie Tyler Reddick to the checkered flag by .149 seconds to win the NASCAR Cup Series race at Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth. There were an estimated 15,000 to 20,000 spectators spread out around the track.

Pole-sitter Lewis Hamilton won the Hungarian Grand Prix in Budapest for the eighth time, equaling Michael Schumacher’s eight victories in the French Grand Prix for the most in one Formula One race. He beat runner-up Max Verstappen by nearly nine seconds.
