Chicago Dancers United presents its an­nual event, this year ti­tled, “Dance for Life 2020: United as One.” Over six days be­gin­ning Aug. 10, a dozen com­pa­nies — in­clud­ing Gior­dano Dance Chicago, Hub­bard Street Dance Chicago, The Jof­frey Bal­let, Chicago Dance Crash and En­sem­ble Es­pañol Span­ish Dance Theater — are fea­tured via free video stream­ing in per­for­mances from past years. The cel­e­bra­tion con­cludes Aug. 15 with a vir­tual event fea­tur­ing a world pre­miere chore­ographed by Hanna Brict­son in re­sponse to the pan­demic, and per­formed by dancers from Chicago com­pa­nies.
