Another foolish vote for Donald Trump will put Social Security at real risk

-

I recently took early retirement due to the world circumstances around me. I did not necessarily want to take retirement as I was making decent money, but in my profession I decided it was the best thing to do.

I’m a Democrat, I did not vote for Donald Trump, and I think recent history has proven I made a wise decision. I hope you too see that, whether you are Republican or Democrat, and especially if you are on Social Security.

Donald Trump has many hotels and country clubs and pays huge amounts in payroll taxes. It’s these taxes, as well as your own, that fund Social Security. And this is why this businessman wants to cut payroll taxes, and at the worst time — because it will save “Ivory Tower Hoodlums” millions.

It’s my opinion that Republicans have been after Social Security since the day it was conceived in the New Deal. So the message is clear: Republican voters, especially those who are on Social Security, should chose to think for once instead of accepting everything that comes out of their leader’s mouth.

Another foolish vote for Trump will put a nail in the coffin of another program that really “Made America Great” long ago.
