Flyers stay alive with OT victory

Scott Laughton scored at 12:20 of overtime, and the Flyers squandered a two-goal lead in the last five minutes of regulation before recovering to defeat the Islanders 4-3 and avoid eliminatio­n in their Eastern Conference semifinal in Toronto. The Islanders still lead the series 3-2.

♦ The Penguins announced center Sidney Crosby had arthroscop­ic wrist surgery Monday, and general manager Jim Rutherford said the recovery time is about a month. The team didn’t specify which wrist was injured.
