JOE RINEHART

SERVICING DIRECTOR, CHICAGO PAINTERS’ UNION

-

Joe Rinehart, Servicing Director of the Chicago Painters’ Union, was introduced to the trade by his grandfather. Rinehart began his 32-year trades career in 1988 as an apprentice where he crafted his skills including painting, drywall finishing, wallcovering and estimating jobs. These skills led to Rinehart’s election to the District Council as a business representative.

In his current role, Rinehart works on member issues and coordinates union organizing in business and political arenas. “The union has provided me with everything I’ve ever known,” Rinehart said. “The American dream is to have a good wage, health insurance for your family and a secure retirement. My union career has provided that and more!”

This Labor Day we salute Joe Rinehart.
