THE CHEAT SHEET

-

BEARS at PANTHERS

Time: Noon, Fox- 32.

Line: Panthers by 1 ½ . Total: 45. Records ( overall/ ATS): Bears 4- 1/ 3- 2; Panthers 3- 2/ 3- 2. Outlook: Bears are an unimpressive 4- 1 and need this game to stay above the “fraud” line. Bears’ offense should be better in Nick Foles’ third start. Panthers’ resilience without Christian McCaffrey is impressive. Pick: Bears 23, Panthers 17.

LIONS at JAGUARS

Time: Noon.

Line: Lions by 3. Total: 54 ½ . Records ( overall/ ATS): Lions

1- 3/ 1- 3; Jaguars 1- 4/ 2- 3. Outlook: This is the kind of defense Matt Stafford tears apart. Then again, Lions have the kind of defense Gardner Minshew can tear apart. Lions snapped an 0- 6 ATS road skein in Week 3 at Arizona. Pick: Jaguars 34, Lions 31.

BRONCOS at PATRIOTS

Time: Noon.

Line: Patriots by 10. Total: 45. Records ( overall/ ATS): Broncos 1- 3/ 3- 1; Patriots 2- 2/ 2- 2. Outlook: Both teams are coming off an odd bye week. Cam Newton has a better chance of playing than Drew Lock and obviously would make a bigger difference. Vic Fangio’s Broncos are resilient. Pick: Patriots 23, Broncos 14.

BROWNS at STEELERS

Time: Noon.

Line: Steelers by 3. Total: 51. Records ( overall/ ATS): Browns 4- 1/ 3- 2; Steelers 4- 0/ 3- 1. Outlook: Browns took advantage of a Colts team that was beat up after playing the Bears, but the Steelers are another step up. Browns are 1- 7 SU/ ATS in their last eight road games.

Pick: Browns 27, Steelers 24.

RAVENS at EAGLES

Time: Noon.

Line: Ravens by 7 ½ . Total: 47 ½ . Records ( overall/ ATS): Ravens 4- 1/ 3- 2; Eagles 1- 3- 1/ 1- 4. Outlook: Eagles broke out of a slump with 29 points last week, but Carson Wentz still was sacked five times and threw two interceptions. Ravens are 7- 0 SU/ 6- 1 ATS in their last seven on the road.

Pick: Ravens 30, Eagles 24.

BENGALS at COLTS

Time: Noon.

Line: Colts by 8. Total: 46 ½ . Records ( overall/ ATS): Bengals 1- 3- 1/ 3- 2; Colts 3- 2/ 3- 2. Outlook: Might be time to get off the Joe Burrow train after the rookie QB was overwhelmed by the Ravens’ pass rush in a 27- 3 loss last week. Now he faces the Colts’ top- ranked defense — though it’s only 14th in sacks per pass play. Pick: Colts 19, Bengals 13.

WASHINGTON at GIANTS

Time: Noon.

Line: Giants by 2 ½ . Total: 42 ½ . Records ( overall/ ATS): Washington 1- 4/ 2- 3; Giants 0- 5/ 3- 2. Outlook: The last time an 0- 5 team was favored vs. a team with at least one win was in 2015, when the winless Lions were 3- point favorites vs. John Fox’s Bears and won 37- 34 in OT for a push.

Pick: Giants 20, Washington 20 ( OT).

RAMS at 49ERS

Time: 7: 20 p. m., Ch. 5.

Line: Rams by 3 ½ . Total: 51 ½ . Records ( overall/ ATS): Rams

4- 1/ 3- 2; 49ers 2- 3/ 2- 3.

Outlook: The injury- wracked 49ers’ issues are coming into focus after getting thrashed at home by the Dolphins last week. Their only victories are over the winless Jets ( 31- 13) and Giants ( 36- 9).

Pick: Rams 42, 49ers 26.

CHIEFS at BILLS

Time: 4 p. m. Monday, Fox- 32, NFL. Line: Chiefs by 3 ½ . Total: 57 ½ . Records ( overall/ ATS): Chiefs 4- 1/ 3- 2; Bills 4- 1/ 3- 2.

Outlook: Just a hunch, but Andy Reid’s Chiefs have a knack for losing back- to- back games after starting with a string of victories. Bills figure to respond after laying an egg vs. the Titans.

Pick: Bills 27, Chiefs 26.

CARDINALS at COWBOYS

Time: 7: 15 p. m. Monday, ESPN. Line: Cardinals by 1 ½ . Total: 54 ½ . Records ( overall/ ATS): Cardinals 3- 2/ 3- 2; Cowboys 2- 3/ 0- 5. Outlook: Cowboys might be on tilt after losing QB Dak Prescott. But Andy Dalton is not a bad Plan B. Chandler Jones a big loss for the Cardinals, who are 4- 1 SU/ ATS in last five vs. the Cowboys.

Pick: Cardinals 23, Cowboys 20.
