A teenager was ordered held without bail Thursday for his alleged role in a double murder on the West Side two years ago.

Larryon Brown, 17, was arrested Wednesday in connection with the deadly April 10, 2019, shooting that claimed the lives of Ismael Moore and Terrell James Haggins, Chicago police said.

Two other alleged shooters, LaDarius Howard and Cornelius Valentine, were charged with the murders in August.

On the day of the shooting, the gunmen exited a car and opened fire at Moore, Haggins and two other men as they stood at the corner of St. Louis Avenue and Ohio Street, Cook County prosecutors said.

Moore, 19, was immediately shot and fell to the ground, prosecutors said.

Brown, 16 at the time, then stood over Moore and allegedly fired several more rounds into his body.

Haggins, 17, was chased onto Ohio Street, but fell and was shot several times in the face and head by Valentine, prosecutors said.

The shooting was captured by POD cameras, which also recorded the stolen white Honda Accord the group drove to and from the attack, prosecutors said.

That car was located later that day and two cellphones were found in the back seat, prosecutors.

The cellphones had texts between the group in preparation for the attack and contained videos that showed the three shooters driving around with guns before the murders, prosecutors said.

A separate investigation targeting street gangs led to the discovery of additional conversations between the three shooters through a social media app, prosecutors said.

Brown had been in custody at the Juvenile Temporary Detention Center facing a separate armed robbery charge when he was charged as an adult with two counts of first-degree murder, attempted murder and aggravated battery with a firearm for the 2019 shooting, prosecutors said.
