Eileen Elizabeth (nee Coad) Coglianese, 72 of Tinley Park. Beloved wife of the late Edmond P. Coglianese, Chicago Fire Department Lieutenant who died in the Line of Duty on January 26th, 1986. Devoted and loving mother of Allyson Coglianese and Matthew (Cynthia) Coglianese; loving DeeDee (grandmothe­r) of Sophia Eileen and Isabel June; dearest sister of MaryRose (Guido) Balassone, Geraldine (late Michael) Howe, Kathleen (Robert) Turek, Bernadette (James) Hughes, Rosella (Karl) Lichtenste­in; cherished sister-in-law of Mary Hoeh and Terrie Coglianese; loving aunt to many nieces and nephews; dear friend to many. Preceded in death by her husband Edmond Coglianese; her parents Joseph and Marion Coad; her brother Patrick Coad; her late husband’s parents Joseph and Helen Coglianese; and his brothers Joe, John, Tony, and Tom. Eileen was a devoted, founding member and president of the Chicago Fire Department Gold Badge Society. In considerat­ion of the safety of our guests and associates, BlakeLamb Funeral Home will adhere to the current gathering restrictio­ns in the state of Illinois, which allow 50 or fewer guests at services. Visitation Wednesday, March 10, 3 to 8pm at Blake Lamb Funeral Home, 4727 W. 103rd Street, Oak Lawn. Funeral Mass Thursday, 11:00am at Saint Rita of Cascia Shrine Chapel at Saint Rita High School, 7740 S. Western Avenue, Chicago, IL 60620. Visitation will also be held Thursday, 10am until the time of Mass at 11am at Saint Rita of Cascia Shrine Chapel at Saint Rita High School. Interment will be private.
