Celebratin­g a life of Mildred A. “Millie” Jercha, nee Masek who passed away on Monday March 15, 2021 two weeks before her 100th birthday, at home surrounded by her loving family. She was Loving wife of the late Stanley. Cherished Mother of Kathy (Richard) Banks, Susan Smith, Jerry (Donna) Jercha, and Mark (Kathy) Jercha. Proud Grandmothe­r of 10 Great- Grandmothe­r of 29, and Great-Great- Grandmothe­r of 10. Dear sister of Helen (late John) Podolak and Bessie (late Stanley) Zon. Fond Aunt of many nieces and Nephews. Millie was a devoted member of the St. Joseph Ladies of the Rosary. For many years Millie supervised the kitchen for all of the meetings. Visitation Tuesday March 23, 2021 from 3 PM until 7 PM at Foran Funeral Home, 7300 W. Archer Ave. (55th street just west of Harlem). Visitation at the funeral home on Wednesday from 8:30 AM until time of prayers at 9:30 AM. Mass 10 AM at St. Joseph Church. Entombment Resurrecti­on Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers please consider memorials in Millie’s name to Alzheimer’s Associatio­n, American Heart Fund, or Joliet Area Hospice (250 Water Stone Circle, Joliet, Illinois 60431) would be appreciate­d. Due to the Covid restrictio­ns, 50 people are allowed in the funeral home at one time. Everyone must wear a face mask and practice social distancing. No food or beverages are permitted.
