THE CHEAT SHEET

-

RAMS at COLTS

Time: Noon.

Line: Rams by 3. Total: 47½. Records (overall/ATS):

Rams 1-0/1-0; Colts 0-1/0-1. Outlook: With a helping hand from Bears, Matthew Stafford looked like an MVP candidate in Week 1 (20-of-26, 321 yards, 3 TDs, 0 INTs, 156.1 rating). A Colts defense that ranked eighth in yards and tied for 10th in scoring last year figures to be a little more on point.

Pick: Rams 19, Colts 17.

PATRIOTS at JETS

Time: Noon.

Line: Patriots by 6. Total: 42½. Records (overall/ATS):

Patriots 0-1/0-1; Jets 0-1/0-1. Outlook: Patriots are smarting from a 17-16 loss to the Dolphins but have to be encouraged by rookie Mac Jones’ debut — 29 of 39, 281 yards, 1 TD, 0 INTs, 102.6 — a Damien Harris fumble away from a likely 4th-quarter victory.

Pick: Patriots 27, Jets 10.

TEXANS at BROWNS

Time: Noon.

Line: Browns by 12½. Total: 48½. Records (overall/ATS):

Texans 1-0/1-0; Browns 0-1/1-0. Outlook: Browns still not ready for prime time after folding again in the fourth quarter vs. the Chiefs. But they’re more than ready for noon time against the Texans. Pick: Browns 37, Texans 16.

BRONCOS at JAGUARS

Time: Noon.

Line: Broncos by 5½. Total: 45½. Records (overall/ATS): Broncos 1-0/1-0; Jaguars 0-1/0-1. Outlook: With the Broncos’ defense in fine shape with rookie Patrick Surtain a backup, it sure seems like they could have taken Justin Fields at No. 9 overall, but Vic Fangio still making it work. Pick: Broncos 20, Jaguars 10.

RAIDERS at STEELERS

Time: Noon, Ch. 2.

Line: Steelers by 5½. Total: 47. Records (overall/ATS): Raiders 1-0/1-0; Steelers 1-0/1-0. Outlook: Raiders due for a letdown after a big OT win at home vs. the Ravens — especially on the road on a short week against a good team. Pick: Steelers 23, Raiders 17.

SAINTS at PANTHERS Time: Noon

Line: Saints by 4½. Total: 44½. Records (overall/ATS):

Saints 1-0/1-0; Panthers 1-0/1-0. Outlook: Saints and Jameis Winston couldn’t have looked better vs. the Packers. But they’re 1-6 SU/ATS in Week 2 since 2014. Pick: Saints 23, Panthers 21.

FALCONS at BUCCANEERS Time: 3:05 p.m.

Line: Bucs by 11½. Total: 51½. Records (overall/ATS):

Falcons 0-1/0-1; Bucs 1-0/0-1. Outlook: Falcons and Matt Ryan couldn’t have looked much worse vs. the Eagles. But they’re 5-2 SU/6-1 ATS in Week 2 since 2014. Pick: Buccaneers 31, Falcons 24.

VIKINGS at CARDINALS Time: 3:05 p.m.

Line: Cardinals by 4½. Total: 51. Records (overall/ATS):

Vikings 0-1/0-1; Cardinals 1-0/1-0. Outlook: Chandler Jones isn’t going to get five sacks every week. But containing Kyler Murray could prove much more difficult.

Pick: Cardinals 24, Vikings 17.

COWBOYS at CHARGERS Time: 3:25 p.m., Ch. 2.

Line: Chargers by 2½. Total: 55½. Records (overall/ATS):

Cowboys 0-1/1-0; Chargers 1-0/1-0. Outlook: Dak Prescott threw for 403 yards vs. the Bucs, but Justin Herbert could break out here. Pick: Chargers 41, Cowboys 35.

CHIEFS at RAVENS Time: 7:20 p.m., Ch. 5.

Line: Chiefs by 3½. Total: 55½. Records (overall/ATS):

Chiefs 1-0/0-1; Ravens 0-1/0-1. Outlook: Chiefs becoming a moneyline team — they’re 10-2 SU but 2-10 ATS in their last 12 games. Pick: Chiefs 31, Ravens 27.

LIONS at PACKERS

Time: 7:15 p.m., Mon., ESPN. Line: Packers by 11½. Total: 48½. Records (overall/ATS):

Lions 0-1/1-0; Packers 0-1/0-1. Outlook: Packers due to respond after loss to Saints. They’re 2-4 ATS vs. Lions at home since 2015. Pick: Packers 30, Lions 22.
