Klopas named Fire coach — again

The Fire promoted Frank Klopas from interim coach to coach. It will be Klopas’ second stint as their coach, and he has served as their interim coach three times, including the last 24 games of this season.

The Red Stars re-signed defender Taylor Malham to a contract for the 2024 season, with an option for 2025. She appeared in three games in 2023.
