Clifford M. Russell, Sr. C.P.D. Ret., Age 74. Beloved husband of the late Dr. Milicent D. Russell Ph.D., (nee Lavizzo). Loving father of Clifford M. Russell Jr. CPD Ret. (Brittan), Corey R. Russell (Eman), and Kimberly L. Russell. Dear “Papa” of Imani, Jasmine, Nia, Sydney, Tyler, Jocelyn, Jordyn, Madison, Jayden, Justin, and Je T’aime. Loving son of the late Inez and Curley Russell Sr. Fond brother of Curley B. Russell Jr. (Mercedes). Beloved son-in-law of the late Robert and Mildred Lavizzo. Dear brother-inlaw of Aurelia Henderson (the late Kenneth) and Dr. Nancy Lavizzo. Cliff was dearly loved and will be missed by his fellow colleagues and friends in Chicago Police Department, especially Eddie Beale, Ret. CPD and Alvin Rogers Ret, CPD. Proudly served as a corporal in the United States Marine Corps from 1969-1975. Proudly served the citizens of Chicago as a Chicago Police Officer for 30 years. He was an avid football fan and loved working on home improvement projects. Above all, Cliff especially loved spending time with his family. Family and friends will meet at Christ the King Church, 9235 S. Hamilton Ave., on Friday, April 19. 2024 for visitation 5:00pm-8:00pm and Saturday, April 20, 2024, 9:00am-10:00am.
