“Supermarket Sweep” (7 p.m., ABC): Host Leslie Jones welcomes another group of contestants who compete in teams of two to see which pair can sweep away the competition in a new episode called “Collision on Aisle Seven!” Playing for a shot at a grand prize of $100,000 are Texan Andy Thompson and Austin Fitzgerald of Arkansas; Sandra Bailey and Eric Lewis, both from Florida; and California duos Sommer and Sky Garcia, Cindy Affleck and Megan Strong, Nate Brooks and Blake Lemke, and Melina Vlahos Christidis and Dave Welch.
“Christmas Everafter” (7 p.m., 11:01 p.m., Lifetime): Romance novelist Izzi Simmons faces twin problems as the Christmas holidays approach: She has a looming deadline for her latest book as well as a crippling case of writer’s block. She heads to her favorite yuletide season B&B, where in addition to the usual festive atmosphere, she finds the glimmers of fresh inspiration in Matt, the inn’s new owner.
“MTVMOVIE& TVAwards: Greatest of All Time”( 7 p.m., 8:30 p.m., MTV): Actress-singer Vanessa Hudgens hosts this new 90-minute special, a first-of-its-kind event that takes a year-end look back at the biggest and best moments in film and television from the 1980s up to today. Hudgens will guide viewers through a series of irreverent award categories highlighting beloved performers in scene-stealing moments, and also will introduce memorable presentations and performances by some of today’s hottest stars. Performers and honorees will be announced later.
“90 Day Fiancé” (7 p.m., 11 p.m., TLC): Four new and three returning couples from the “90 Day” franchise put it all on the line for what they hope is true love as this hit reality series — which spawnedmultiple spinoffs to date — opens Season 8. Each of the couples has succeeded in getting visa approval to bring their intended to the United States, but now they have only 90 days to make that final commitment and getmarried. If not, the foreign visitors must return home.
“A Holly Dolly Christmas”( 7:30 p.m., CBS): Irrepressible country music superstar Dolly Parton blows away any pandemic blues with this delightful new holiday special celebrating Parton’s absolutely favorite time of the year. The overall mood is intimate, though, with the star performing from a candlelit set, alternating light-hearted yuletide tunes with powerful renditions of hymns reflect the power of faith and resilience.
“Euphoria” (8 p.m., 10:30 p.m., 1 a.m., HBO): The polarizing yet critically acclaimed teen drama returns for the first of two special episodes produced under COVID-19 guidelines, with Zendaya — who won an Emmy Award as outstanding lead actress in a drama series — returning as the troubled Rue. The script, written by series creator Sam Levinson and called “Trouble Don’t Last Always,” finds Rue trying to celebrate Christmas in the aftermath of a relapse triggered by being left by Jules at the train station.
“Your Honor” (9 p.m., 10:30 p.m., 12:30 a.m., Showtime): Adapted from an Israeli series, this new legal thriller stars Emmy winner Bryan Cranston as Michael Desiato, a respected New Orleans judge whose life becomes exponentially more complicated after his teenage son, Adam (Hunter Doohan), is involved in a hit-and-run incident. Michael Stuhlbarg also stars as deadly crime family kingpin Jimmy Baxter, with Hope Davis playing his equally dangerous wife, Gina.
