While under the influence of cold high pressure, a disturbance aloft will spread cloudiness and even a chance of a few light snowflurries over our area Sunday. The disturbance willmove off to the east Sunday night, allowing the sun to return to our area Monday. Winds will gradually become southwesterly as the high pressure also moves off to the east, allowing a brief mid-week “warm-up” which could see temps peak in the lower 40s hereWednesday and Thursday before a strong cold front moves through our area later in the day Thursday.
A check on Sunday's nationalweather map shows most of the significantweather occurring in Texas with winter storm conditions and forecasts of 4-8 inches of snowover the Texas panhandle and central portions of the Lone Star state.
