FOP chief’s recent reaction

-

John Catanzara, president of the Chicago Fraternal Order of Police, basically expressed his support for the criminal acts taken against our government, people and property at the Capitol while Congresswas exercising its constitutional responsibilities to confirm a presidential election. The Tribune reported Catanzara saying, “There’s no, obviously, violence in this crowd,” and “Therewas no arson. Therewas no burning of anything. There was no looting. Therewas very little destruction of property.”

Clearly Catanzara is unqualified to carry out the basic duties of a police officer. He let his personal feelings for Donald Trump influence and determine his professional judgment. It’s obvious this man cannot be trusted to carry out his oath to protect and serve the people of Chicago. He is unfit for the position he holds and a disgrace to the Chicago Police Department and the FOP.

Hisweak attempt at awalkback did nothing to fix his totally inaccurate statements.
