Although GWS Auctions Inc. says the custom 1962 Lockheed Jetstar was “in original condition” (complete with red-velvet seats, shag carpeting and wood paneling), it doesn’t have engines, the cockpit needs to be restored and it’s been sitting on a runaway in Roswell, N.M., for the past 35 years.

ANCHOR AWAY

This just in. On May 30, it was reported that Scott

Pelley, 59, was being replaced as anchor of CBS Evening News and being moved into a fulltime role on the venerable newsmagazine 60 Minutes. Scott has sat behind the desk since taking over from Katie Couric in 2011. Senior national correspondent Anthony Mason, 60, will step in as interim anchor until the network decides upon Scott’s permanent replacement.
