Honoring the Star on His 100th Birthday

Steubenville, Ohio, the birthplace of Dean Martin, celebrated the entertainer on what would have been his 100th birthday with a parade on June 17, featuring his daughter Deana Martin. She says her dad would have been overwhelmed by the tribute. “I think he would’ve been out there smiling and having a fantastic time, but he’d say, ‘I’m ready to have a nice party, but I don’t want a lot of chitchat,’ ” Deana, 68, tells Closer. “He liked to be quiet.”
