Guard Duty
Who doesn’t love a man in uniform? Prince William performed quite the dashing display when he suited up in his Colonel of the Irish Guard regalia to lead the Colonel’s Review in London on
June 10. The event is held to prep for the Trooping the Colour ceremony, which celebrates the official birthday of Will’s grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II — a date the young royal never forgets!
“My relationship with my grandmother has gone from strength to strength,” Will notes of how their close family bond has grown over the years. “As I learned from growing up, you don’t mess with your grandmother,” the prince adds. “I [always] understood that when I was around her I had to be low-key and polite — what she says goes.”
