Idol’s Katharine Gets Lost
She first found fame as the runnerup on Season 5 of American Idol, but Katharine McPhee has since made a name for herself as an actress on shows like Smash and Scorpion. Now she’s playing Kathie Durst, the real estate mogul’s wife who disappeared in 1982, in the TV movie The Lost Wife of Robert Durst. In real life, Katharine says she still believes in true love. “I’m a oneman kind of gal,” she says. “And a kind of true romantic at heart.”
