Tanya Tucker The country singer’s cutting horses love to saddle up for a good time!

I’ve had horses all of my life,” Tanya Tucker tells Closer about her “ongoing love affair” with cutting ponies, like her favorites (from left) Gennin Jessie, Gunny and Lacin’ It Up. The supporter of the Redemption Road Rescue animal shelter keeps her equine pals at her ranch in Leiper’s Fork, Tenn., and says they’ve formed quite a bond with one another. “They all get along very well,” she notes of how her “spitfire” Gunny jives with fellow mare Lacin’ It Up and the “cranky old man” Gennin Jessie. Though Tanya loves to watch her horses interacting on their own, nothing makes her happier than going for a ride. “It gives me time to realize how wonderful my life is,” she says. “I get a lot of song ideas, too!”
