CLUTTER — CURED!

Whether you’re scrapbooking, sewing or wrapping gifts, these quick and easy organizational ideas will keep supplies at the ready and save you time

-

SET UP A CREATIVE HUB

A wall-mounted storage system holds supplies of all shapes and sizes and leaves your table tidy. Look for pegboard and a hardware kit at your local hardware store (most will cut to size). Then paint and screw into your wall.

OUR PICK: Lowe’s Hardboard Pegboard, $10, and Blue Hawk Pegboard Kit, $9, lowes.com

1. UTILIZE A DINING TABLE

Make sure there’s room to wrap large gifts or take on big projects by trading your desk for a dinner table. Unlike a desktop, it has more generous proportions and is often much more economical.

OUR PICK: LINNMON/ADILS Table in white, $25, ikea.com

2. END PAPER CHAOS

Hang gift wrap to keep it smooth and out of the way. To do: Screw a cup hook under the front and back corners of one side of the table. Tie the ends of a 66-inch rope together, slip through the roll and hang an end on each hook. OUR PICK: Ook Cup Hooks, $3 for a pack of 40, walmart.com

3. STOW TINY ITEMS HERE

A jumble of small beads, gems or sewing supplies can add up to one big mess. Keep them organized and visible at a glance in a wall-mounted spice rack with magnetic compartments.

OUR PICK: Kamenstein Magnetic 12-Jar Spice Rack with Easel,

$40, bedbathandbeyond.com

4. PREVENT PILEUPS

Place paintbrushes, tubes of paint and bottles of glue within arm’s reach (but out of the way) with these lightweight yet sturdy racks. They take just seconds to mount, so you can easily add an extra row when needed!

OUR PICK: White Steel Wire Utility Shelves, $10, containerstore.com
