“It felt like it was a long time coming,” Sandra Bullock says of co-starring with seven other women in the heist thriller Ocean’s 8. “Too long if you ask me, but I’m just so grateful that it happened.” She plays Debbie Ocean, the sister of George Clooney’s Danny from Ocean’s 11–13. With her female cohorts — including Cate Blanchett, Helena Bonham Carter, Sarah Paulson and Rihanna — they plot to steal a super-valuable necklace from a celebrity (Anne Hathaway) at the annual Met Gala in NYC. “It felt like we had all been kept in solitary confinement from each other,” Sandra says of her co-stars. “Kind of like an actress quarantine, and when we all found ourselves like sardines in the trailer that first day, it was like the dam burst and we all made up for lost time.” Agrees co-star Mindy Kaling, “I looked forward to coming to work every day.” [PG-13]
