Barbra Streisand opens up about her biggest role yet — grandma! New details emerge on Heather Locklear’s ongoing mental health struggles.
She’s played a lot of roles in her life — Fanny Brice, Dolly Levi, Yentl — but Barbra Streisand’s about to tackle a brand-new one: grandmother. “It’s annoying but in a really great way,” jokes Josh Brolin, 50, of his stepmother’s reaction to his wife Kathryn Boyd’s pregnancy (she’s due this fall). “It’s emails every day like, ‘Hey, I thought of this name, what do you think of that? When can I come over and feel the baby?’ ” Josh even bought Barbra, 76, a bracelet that says “Grandma,” and she got all verklempt when she received it. “She is really into it, and I love that she is into it,” says the Sicario: Day of the Soldado co-star.
“I mean it’s like a very typical Jewish grandmother who is like saturated by this event. It’s awesome.”
