Miranda Lambert sang the praises of rescuing pets at this year’s CMA Fest.

Just like music, animals have always been a part of my life,” Miranda Lambert notes of being a longtime pet-rescue advocate. “They add such warmth to a home and I can’t imagine living without them.” In fact, the young country singer, 34, is so dedicated to the cause that she and her pet Chihuahua, Cher, were the faces of her MuttNation Foundation’s adoption event at this year’s CMA Fest in Nashville. “It’s the world’s best feeling when you make the perfect match between a rescue and a new owner, knowing it’s creating such an incredible bond,” gushes Miranda. “It just fills my heart with happiness to be part of something so special.”
