Former Melrose Place star Heather Locklear continues to spiral downward. In the latest incident, Heather, 56, allegedly attacked law enforcement officers who responded to reports of a disturbance at her home in Thousand Oaks, Calif., and was charged with police battery. She allegedly attacked the first responders who came to her aid and was charged with police battery. After spending the night in jail, she was released but taken to a hospital about six hours later after she was said to have taken an overdose. She’s now thought to have been hospitalized for psychiatric evaluation. “We all have our struggles, and some of us handle them in different ways,” says Heather’s Melrose co-star and ex-fiancé, Jack Wagner. “It’s just about when you make that decision to do it. Time will tell.”
