As part of its offering of historical autographs on July 23, auction house Profiles in History will be putting up for bid over 170 lots of inscribed notes, photographs and letters of stars, kings and presidents, including one by Gen. George Washington expected to get upwards of $30,000. But the item that’ll draw the most interest has no one’s John Hancock at all. It’s JFK’s personal presidential leather bomber jacket, which is expect to fetch between $250,000 and $300,000.
