Fairfield 2, UMass- Lowell 0: Emma Matlach had one goal and one assist, Jolanda Richter scored one goal and Zoe Rosen made four saves in goal in the win for the Stags ( 7- 1) at University Field in Fairfield.

Siena 2, Sacred Heart 1 ( OT): Alejandro Arribas scored an unassisted goal in the second half and Robert Strain, of Danbury, made five saves in goal in the loss for the Pioneers ( 1- 4- 1) in Loudonville, N. Y.

LIU Post 3, Bridgeport 0: Carlos Tofern made four saves in goal in the loss for the Purple Knights ( 3- 2, 1- 1 ECC) at Shuart Stadium in Hempstead, N. Y.

WOMEN’S SOCCER

Bridgeport 2, LIU Post 1: Amanda Ebbesson and Maegan Doyle each scored one goal and Jennifer Wendelius made seven saves in goal in the win for the Purple Knights ( 3- 2, 1- 0 ECC) at Shuart Stadium in Hempstead, N. Y.

WOMEN’S VOLLEYBALL

Fairfield 3, St. Peter’s 0: Alexis Rich had 38 assists, eight digs and two kills, Sonja Radulovic had 17 digs and 12 kills and Mayda Garcia had 16 kills and 11 digs in the win for the Stags ( 2- 8, 1- 0 MAAC) in Jersey City, N. J.

Sacred Heart 3, Binghamton 1; Sacred Heart 3, Rhode Island 2: Sarah Ciszek had 45 assists, 13 digs and 11 kills, Emma Smallcomb had 27 digs and Liisel Nelis had 17 digs and 14 kills in the first match Ciszek had 49 assists, eight kills and seven digs, Alik Polk had 11 kills and 11 digs and Nelis had 18 kills and eight digs in the second match for the Pioneers ( 7- 4) at the William H. Pitt Center in Fairfield.
