Holmers powers Tigers

BRIDGEPORT — Eddie Holmes had 316 yards of offense and scored five touchdowns to lead Bullard- Havens in a 49- 18 win over MCW United in a football game Saturday afternoon.

Holmes had nine carries for 184 yards rushing, including scoring runs of 25, 40 and 80 yards, and caught two passes for 132 yards from Cyrus Cotto

( 8- for- 15, 359 yards), scoring touchdowns on both.

Cristian Pagano ( 63 yards) and Barry JeanPierre ( 80) each caught a touchdown pass from Cotto in the win for the Tigers, who improved to 2- 0.

MCW United’s record fell to 0- 2.
