Virginia ( Kelley) Bredice

Virginia Mary ( Kelley) Bredice, age 88, of Stratford, passed away Friday, September 21, 2018 in CT Hospice, Branford. Mrs. Bredice was born November 25, 1929 in Bridgeport, daughter of the late William and Theresa ( Flynn) Kelley and had been a lifetime area resident. Virginia was a wonderful mother and grandmother and loved tending to her grandchildren. She was famous for her Italian meatballs of international fame. Virginia is survived by her devoted son, Anthony M. Bredice; her granddaughter, Allessandra Bredice; her husband, Anthony P. Bredice; her dear friend, Delores Reynolds and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her grandson, AJ Bredice; her son, Frederick Bredice and five siblings, Clifford Kelley, William Kelley Jr., Joan Kliczewski, Constance Nardele and James Kelley. Friends are invited to attend a funeral Mass of Christian Burial celebrated by Father Rogerio Perri on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at 10: 30 a. m. in St. James Church, 2070 Main St., Stratford, CT. Interment will be private. Friends may visit with the family before service time from 9: 00 a. m. to 10: 00 a. m. in the William R. McDonald Funeral Home, 2591 Main Street, Stratford, CT.
