Expertise in waterfront homes

- Deborah Loban

Celebrating her 32nd year as a Realtor this October, Deb Loban is driven by her love of her profession. “I hold myself to a high standard. I believe I have an obligation to all who seek my help,” Loban says.

Her customer service philosophy is simple: “My clients are either purchasing or selling the single largest investment they will make in their lifetime. I respect that and understand the angst that comes with the process, so I am always available to quell any concerns they might have as the transaction proceeds.”

For Loban, the most rewarding part of her career is the countless referrals she has received throughout the years from past clients as well as from her peers.

“That reassures me that what I do positively impacts those who have worked with me. There is no greater reward,” she said.

Her success comes from a deep understanding of her clients and each individual situation.

“I listen. I don’t talk ... it’s not about me, it’s all about my clients,” she said.

She also attributes her success to working for an exceptional brokerage.

“The branding, education, technology, office and corporate support that Raveis offers cannot be matched by another brokerage.”

With so many years in the business, her expertise spans a wide scope. However, Loban does have an affinity for working with waterfront and water community homes.

“I grew up in Lordship, a water community, and raised my family there,” she said. “I still love the area and in my heart, still call it home.”

Her primary area of service is eastern Fairfield County, but she has also had the good fortune of working in Litchfield, New Haven and Middlesex counties. Loban has served as President of the Greater Bridgeport Board of Realtors for the past two years and is a member of the Board of Directors for Connecticut Realtors.

Loban supports Damon Runyon Cancer Research and will be participating in the Raveis Ride and Walk on Sept. 30 at Calf Pasture Beach in Norwalk. She also supports St Jude’s Children Research and the Alzheimer’s Association.
