Rosalinda ( Betty) Albanese DiBiagio, age 94 of Bridgeport, CT passed away peacefully on December 30, 2020 at St. Vincent’s Medical Center. She was

the beloved wife of the late Girardo, ( Jerry), DiBiagio for 72 years. She was the daughter of the late Leonardo and Antonetta Albanese. Betty is survived by her two sons, Michael Sr. and wife Linda, and Victor and wife Bille. Her grandsons are Michael Jr., Kristopher, and a great- grandson, Niko, and many nieces and nephews. Betty’s greatest joy was her love for her family. She was especially close to Kathy Hemstock and Franny Lou Dollinger her nieces, who spoke to her daily. She was predecease­d by her sisters, Louise and Francis Moore, Mary and Jim Cotter, and brothers, Steve and Sarah Albanese, Patrick and Netta Albanese, Vinny and Margurite Albanese, and Toni Albanese.

She worked at Hallbrook Foundation for 15 years as a Switchboar­d Supervisor. She then worked at Richardson Vicks as a Receptioni­st. Betty and Jerry loved the N. Y. Yankees, never missed a game. They also loved to travel. Betty was a devout Catholic who belonged to St. Margarite’s Eucharisti­c Ministry, both in church and St. Vincent’s Medical Center.

The family would like to thank the nurses and doctors at St. Vincent’s Medical Center, and The Jewish Home for their compassion and loving care. Also thank you Dr. Benjamin Weisman for your excellent care. Without you mom would have never made it to 94.

Due to the current situation and social gathering restrictio­ns, the funeral services will be private.
