Edward Frank Pelle, 80, of Milford, formerly of Bridgeport, passed away peacefully on January 2, 2021. Edward was born on December 1, 1940 in Bridgeport, to the late Frank and Ethel Pelle.

Ed served his country in the US Air Force from 1961 to 1967. He worked for Olin Corporation for many years and later co- owned Warehouse Liquor in Milford. In more recent years, he worked at Seaside Liquor in Old Saybrook.

On a sunny day, Ed could be found grabbing a Dunkin coffee or taking a drive by the beach. He loved spending time with his granddaughter, Carly. Whether it was to grab a hotdog at Danny’s, go for a ride, or to simply hang out and listen to her play guitar, they just enjoyed their special time together. He was an avid fan of the NY Jets and NY Mets. He and his son, Dave, went to many games over the years and even took the occasional road trip to games too.

Ed is survived by his son, David Pelle and his wife Greta of Milford; his granddaughter, Carly Pelle; several nieces and nephews; and his former wife, Sandy Pelle, of West Haven, with whom he was still very close. He was predeceased by his brothers, Steven and Mike and his dear sister, Barbara.
