Marjorie Lewis Estok, age 90, of Shelton, passed away quietly at her home on February 11th after a short illness. She was the devoted wife of the late William ( Bill) Estok. Marjorie was born in Bridgeport on November 21, 1930 daughter of the late Leslie and Rachel Kohler Lewis. She worked in banking for over 30 years until her retirement in 1993. She and her beloved husband started a small apple orchard and sold apples and cider from a stand at their home in Huntington. Marge and Bill loved to travel, going to dozens of places both in the US and around the world. After Bill’s death, she continued to travel with friends, family, and groups. She often said she’d been everywhere at least twice! Following the death of her husband, she became very active in her community. She volunteere­d in the pharmacy at St. Vincent’s Hospital for over 17 years. She belonged to the Shelton Land Trust, The Shelton Historical Society and was a proud member of DAR. Marge was a long- time member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Shelton. She loved to entertain and hosted many holiday meals for her family and friends. In the summer she had pool parties. Marge is survived by her two daughters Sharon ( Carlos) and Doreen Blewett; her brother Richard Lewis ( Doris); beloved grandchild­ren William Smith, Jennifer Funk ( Gregory), Keith Blewett, Eric Blewett

( Sara) and her great grandchild­ren Connor Funk, Brady Funk, Hunter Stockwell- Smith and Paisley Grace Blewett. She was predecease­d by her sister Mary Larese and infant daughter Kathleen Estok. She will be missed by all who knew her. A walk through wake will take place on Friday April 9, 2021 from 3: 00 pm to 5: 30 pm at the Riverview Funeral Home 390 River Rd., Shelton. Visitors are required to wear masks and social distance as they walk through, pay their respects and exit without lingering to ensure all guests can come through. A private invitation - only service will be held at 6: 00 pm. The committal prayers and burial will take place on Saturday April 10, at 11: 00 am in Pine Hill Cemetery, Pine Hill Rd., Southbury.
