John M. Cannone Jr., age 29, of Trumbull, entered into eternal rest on Friday, December 18, 2020. Born in Bridgeport on August 24, 1991, he was the son of John (Jay) Cannone Sr. and Stephanie Stewart Cannone and was a lifelong Trumbull resident. John attended Central Connecticut State University and was working as the director of training at L.A. Fitness in Trumbull. John enjoyed many passions over his 29 years. He was a deeply talented piano player and vocalist, who loved singing to entertain family and friends. His booming voice and technical prowess on the piano could fill any room with music and laughter, always to his great enjoyment. He was also an incredibly physically strong person, competing and winning numerous powerlifting competitions and awards. He was extremely passionate about fitness and felt a vocation to help others achieve their health and fitness goals. He loved being involved with local Special Olympics and had a reservoir of compassion for those with down syndrome and other disabilities. He befriended and was supported by many people in the addiction community throughout his journey. He loved cheerleading the success of others and always provided an attentive ear to those suffering with addiction. His family hopes his passing serves as a somber lesson to those afflicted with addiction. They encourage those struggling to be honest and seek treatment. In addition to his parents, Jay and Stephanie, he is survived by his sister Nicole and two brothers, Kyle and Cross, all of Trumbull, maternal grandparents, Cecilia Stewart and George Johns and paternal grandparents, John and
