Angelo Amaranto Jr.

Angelo Amaranto Jr., 57 of Stratford, CT, beloved son of Angelo Amaranto Sr. and Nancy Amaranto who pre deceased him , beloved brother of Raffaele Amaranto (pre-deceased), and sister Alaine Amaranto (pre-deceased this year entered heaven at home on December 27th. He is survived by his sister Michelle Amaranto, Lisa Carbone and husband Anthony Carbone and their daughter Paris Carbone of Southport. He is the grandson of Raffaele and Nazarena Amaranto and Vito and Florence Benedetto. (All Pre-deceased). He was also pre-deceased by his childhood sweetheart and fiancé’ Martha Sherman of Fairfield. Angelo took over his father’s home painting business AAAngelo Banner Bargain in the 90’s which was started in 1962 by his dad. He continued the honest and “No money down or paid until my customer’s completely satisfied.” policy.

His work portfolio speaks volumes of his success. Angelo later went on to work with the famous Chef Michele at his South Norwalk Restaurant . Angelo also worked in various country clubs as well. He always enjoyed the stage and was a student of the late Lucille Ball’s acting coach Mrs. Montgomery in New Canaan, CT. Angelo went on to close his business and devoted his time to paving his way in Manhattan to eventually be a member of SAG and AFTRA. He was in numerous movies and could sing a baritone that made people just keep asking him to sing more. He was a very loving, compassionate, and loyal person. He could not do enough for others. He would light up the room when he entered it because he loved to make others happy and feel loved. He had a sense of humor that would have people rolling with laughter once he got warmed up. He loved to cook fettuccini and share his culinary delights with all. Strangers would leave hugging Angelo because he exuded such a divine radiance that was in his beautiful soul. Angelo would help anyone in need. He also loved and protected his family and friends with passion. Angelo always proclaimed that the ultimate was eternal life and that none us ever die. He said that would be the “ultimate” in life. He was so spiritual and loved God. He would kiss his mother’s cross of Jesus everyday. His heart was pure and we know he is with his family and God now. Angelo loved his only niece Paris Carbone like a daughter. His words to her Paris the day before he entered heaven were “Paris, Always love God and follow the path of Jesus”. She was there holding his hand the day he passed and he is now with the Lord watching over all of us. One day we will all meet in heaven. Sadly, due to the Corona Virus and for the safety of all, services will be held in the Springtime for Angelo. We are with him and he is with us all the days of our lives.
