Mary worked in the electrical department for Sikorsky Aircraft for over 40 years. One of her greatest moments was when she was asked by Igor Sikorsky to fly in a trial run to fly over Seaside Park which was one of her favorite places in Bridgeport, also where she grew up. She was a member of the Sikorsky Retires and Friendship Clubs. During the years she lived in Shelton she enjoyed the senior center and its quilting club. Her greatest joy during the holidays was cooking traditional Polish meals for her family.

She was predeceased by her sister Helen Adamicki, brother Stanley Bojarczyk and daughter-in-law Carole Christy Surina. The family would like to thank caregivers Anna and

Maria for their loving care, and a special thanks to Lorrie for the companionship, love and care given in this past year.

Due to the current pandemic, there will be a Private Mass of Christian Burial at St. Michael the Archangel Church in Bridgeport followed by interment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Trumbull where she will be laid to rest next to her husband Joseph.
