1955 - 2021. Loving father, entreprene­ur and sportsman died peacefully this Saturday at his home surrounded by his loved ones.

Mr. Stevens was connected to many of the area’s institutio­ns, having been the President of Stevens Auto Group, the Milford Chamber of Commerce, Milford Rotary, and the Connecticu­t Automotive Retailers Associatio­n. He was an avid supporter of many of the community’s charities including the Boys and Girls Club of Milford, United Way, and the Red Cross.

Born to the late William and Carolyn McIntosh Stevens, Mr. Stevens was raised in West Falmouth, MA and Milford, CT. He went on to Georgetown University to pursue his business degree. After graduating, he joined Deloitte and Touche as a senior tax accountant before taking over his family business in 1986.

He was an exceptiona­l golfer, enthusiast­ic art collector, lifelong learner and loved spending time on Martha’s Vineyard with his family and friends.

Survived by his loving children, Nathaniel, Samuel, and Lucy and granddaugh­ter Sky. Loving brother to William Jr., Dana and predecease­d by Robert M. Stevens. Cherished uncle to many nieces and nephews. Dear friend to many. Forever in our hearts. Please join us for a Memorial Gathering for David on Saturday, January 23, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Cody-White Funeral Home, 107 Broad Street, Milford, CT. Only 25 people are allowed in at a time and masks are required.
