Biden not uniting

-

When President Biden thrice fell boarding Air Force 1, I ominously sensed that this moment in history was a surrealist Orwellian occurrence three times removed as POTUS continues to traduce his inaugural pledge upon assuming office to unite his fellow Americans of all political stripes; alas, the country remains more divided than ever.

In shutting down the Canadian pipeline with one stroke of a pen, it left perhaps 18,000 hard hatters jobless, hoping for the promised transition to a green economy on the horizon flush with ephemeral green bucks.

Tacitly opening the Mexican border to all comers and curtailing finishing the remaining open section of the “Trumpian” wall left border agents with the unenviable task of nurturing underage illegal migrant children in need of at least a modicum of medical attention, while leaving the doors open for notorious drug cartels and social miscreants intent on plying their evil exploits.

Lately, Biden has resorted to falsely misquoting various news items critical of his administration’s foibles that even the left leaning liberal Washington Post has regularly assigned Mr. Biden more Pinocchios than toy maker Geppetto.

During revolutionary times of yore, patriot Thomas Paine opined “these are times that try men’s souls.” To wit; noted British Parliamentarian Edmund Burke eruditely proffered in earlier times of political unrest: “the only thing necessary for evil to triumph if for good men to do nothing.”

It is rumored that Joe Biden retired early to bed seven days a week, yet he seems to be “woken” to the “cancel culture” threatening the very fabric of our nations future. Hmmm? “Taxation without representation” — where have I hear that before?
