William Neil Clark, age 83, of Trumbull, beloved husband of Regina M. Evans, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at the West Haven Veterans Hospital with his wife Regina by his side. Born in Portland, CT on January 1, 1938, he was a son of the late William Albert and Helen Louise Duhaime Clark. After high school, Bill served four years in the U.S. Air Force; serving in Scotland, Turkey, the Philippine­s and Taiwan. Bill and his wife Regina traveled to Taiwan twice, where Bill, along with other serviceman were honored by the Taiwanese people for their service during the China Theatre at the 1958 artillery battle. After the Air Force, Bill worked for 20 years for the Bruning Corp. After his employment with Bruning, Bill was coowner of the Milford Blueprint Company. In 1996 Bill joined the Geenty Group Realtors and continued working there until just recently. Bill’s greatest pleasure was traveling with his wife and playing golf and always enjoyed a trip to the casino and weekly card games with his card playing friends. He played many rounds of golf at Tashua Knolls and always showed up in his patriotic shirts. Bill was a member of the Tashua Knolls Senior Mens Golf Club, New Haven Board of Realtors, where he also held the positions as Vice President of the Connecticu­t State Board of Realtors, New Haven region. Over Bill’s years in real estate he received many sales and lease awards during the annual C.I.D. Division Awards Dinner. In addition to his wife Regina of 32 years, survivors include six children, Michael A. Evans of Redding, Christophe­r J. Evans of Boston, MA, Michael Clark and his wife Kay of Tallapoosa, GA, Christine Bourgeois of Anderson, SC, Ken Clark and his wife Carole of Holly Springs, NC, and Bill Clark and his wife Mary of Unity, NH, a sister, Barbara Clark of Winter Park, FL, a brother, Dan Clark and his wife Judy of Cheshire, brother-in-law, Richard McCalliste­r of Okemos, MI, 12 grandchild­ren, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, he was predecease­d by his father and mother-in-law, Earl and Ruth McCalliste­r and sister-in-law, Karen McCalliste­r. A prayer service and rendering of military honors will take place on Sunday, April 18, 2021 at 12:45 p.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull. Interment will take place at a later date in Cunningham Memorial Park, St. Albans, West Virginia. A walk-through visitation will take place on Sunday from 11:00 – 1:00 p.m., visitors are asked to wear masks and social distance as they walk through, pay their respects, and exit without lingering to ensure all guests can come through the building.
