Robert P. Andrechak

Robert P. Andrechak, age 76, of Shelton, beloved husband of Eleanor D’Amico Andrechak, passed away peacefully on October 4, 2021 in his residence with his loving family by his side. Robert was born on October 24, 1944 in Bridgeport and was the son of the late Peter J. and Rose Samsel Andrechak. He enjoyed spending time with family, visiting the casino, was an avid hunter, fisher and a member of the Turkey Roost Rod and Gun Club. In addition to his beloved wife, Eleanor of 53 years, Robert is also survived by three daughters, Dawn Izzo and husband, Louis of Derby, Denise Twomey and husband, Stephen Jr., of Shelton and Donna Regan and husband, Paul of Seymour, six grandchildren, Anthony and wife Samantha, Stephen, Robert, Bryan, Kiley and Louis and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his beloved parents, Robert was also predeceased by one brother, Ronald Andrechak. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in Holy Name of Jesus Church, 1950 Barnum Avenue, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Albert Pinciaro. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. Friends may call on Saturday, October 9, 2021 from 8:30 – 10:30 a.m. at the Galello-Luchansky Funeral Home, 2220 Main Street, Stratford.
