FRIDAY CCC
East Hartford (4-4) at Simsbury (4-4), 6:30 p.m.: Been a tough-luck season for both teams. But finish strong.
Hall (7-1) at New Britain (1-7), 6:30 p.m.: Best thing that could have happened to Hall was losing last week.
Maloney (7-1) at Glastonbury (2-6), 6:30 p.m.: For Maloney, this is for a share of the CCC Tier 1 title, which is actually impressive for Maloney.
Southington (7-1) at Conard (3-5), 6:30 p.m.: ...Of course, Southington will claim it’s the sole champ because it beat Maloney. But ya didn’t beat Hall, did ya?
Enfield (0-8) at Manchester (0-8), 6 p.m.: You can be sure the winner of this winless showdown going to savor the win forever.
Berlin (3-5) at Platt (4-4), 6:30 p.m.: Say this much for both squads: They compete. They’re tough to beat.
Middletown (3-5) at Wethersfield (6-2), 7 p.m.: Wethersfield needs to win out to have any playoff shot. But this is a much different Middletown team than a month ago.
Newington (6-2) at Windsor (7-1), 7 p.m.: They’re longshots in L. But here’s a chance for Newington to prove it’s truly playoff-caliber at least.
Bristol Central (7-1) at Plainville (6-2), 6:30 p.m.: Interestingly enough, Bristol Central needs this more for Class L than Plainville in Class M.
Farmington (0-8) at Bristol Eastern (3-5), 6:30 p.m.: Bristol Eastern’s final tuneup for what should be a fun the Battle for the Bell on Thanksgiving.
South Windsor (6-2) at Bloomfield (8-0), 7 p.m.: This ought to end South Windsor’s faint Class L playoff hopes for good.
RHAM (3-5) at E.O. Smith (1-7), 8:15 p.m.: RHAM’s last two opponents are a combined 1-15. Raptors would love a .500 season.
Avon (4-2) at East Catholic (2-5), 6:30 p.m.: All’s not lost for Avon in Class M. Three games, including a key one vs. Rocky Hill remaining.
Tolland (5-3) at Rocky Hill (5-2), 7 p.m.: Speaking of the Terriers, they need to win out to have any chance at a Class S berth. Tolland’s no pushover, either.
CTC
ATI (4-3) at VG Techs (0-7), 6 p.m.: Remember the Wolverines? Don’t look now, but they’re making a Class M playoff push
Prince Tech (4-4) at Platt Tech (3-4), 7 p.m.: Winner gets to move into the CTC’s upper tier.
Cheney Tech (7-1) at Quinebaug (7-1), 6 p.m.: At Stake: The CTC Title, a Class L playoff spot (Cheney’s just about in with a win) and the hopes of Masuk, Wilton and Hand. Whew.
ECC
NFA (3-5) at Killingly (7-0), 6:30 p.m.: This was supposed to be the ECC game of the year. Now? It’s not even the biggest game in town.
FCIAC
Ludlowe (3-5) at Bridgeport Central (0-8), 6 p.m.: At least there’s Thanksgiving to look forward to.
Warde (1-6) at New Canaan (7-1), 7 p.m.: Defense has been Warde’s biggest issue this year. New Canaan’s offense could use a pick-me-up.
Norwalk (5-3) at Wilton (6-2), 7 p.m.: If Norwalk’s going down, the Bears can at least take Wilton with them.
Ridgefield (4-4) at Staples (6-2), 7 p.m.: If Ridgefield’s going down, the Tigers can at least take Staples with them.
Danbury (3-5) at Trumbull (6-2), 7 p.m.: Trumbull’s back. But a win here merely sets up a possible do-or-die game across town on Thanksgiving.
NVL
Kennedy (1-6) at WCA (3-4), 7 p.m.: A winning season and second-place in the NVL Brass still within reach for Spartans.
Woodland (5-3) at Naugatuck (6-1), 7 p.m.: The Pinho Trophy is at stake for the first time in four years. Naugy’s also got Class L playoff aspirations.
PEQUOT
Morgan (6-1) at North Branford (2-5), 6:30 p.m.: Morgan’s last TD run was three games and 17 touchdowns ago. They’ve been all Drew Nye passes since.
Coventry/WT/Bolton/Lyman (2-5) at
Granby/Canton (5-2), 6:30 p.m.: For the Bears, it’s going to be a fight to the finish for a Class M playoff spot.
SCC
Fairfield Prep (7-1) at Xavier (5-3), 7 p.m.: We’ve officially moved from Shelton to the Fairfield Prep revenge tour. Kron and Xavier won this on a 2-pointer last time.
Shelton (7-2) at Cheshire (4-4), 7 p.m.: Not much Shelton can do now except win, wait and try not to worry.
Branford (6-1) at Guilford (4-4), 7 p.m.: The season’s almost over and Guilford can finally get excited about an opponent: playoff hopeful and rival Branford.
North Haven (3-5) at Hillhouse (1-6), 6 p.m.: North Haven is the best 3-5 team we’ve seen. Hasn’t been outclassed once this year.
Hamden (5-2) at Law (5-2), 7 p.m.: Every game from here on is a playoff game for these two.
SWC
Bethel (1-7) at Masuk (6-2), 7 p.m.: Win this, and it’s a one-game regular season for Masuk.
New Milford (5-3) at Brookfield (3-5), 7 p.m.: At Stake: New Milford’s first winning season in 11 years.
New Fairfield (7-1) at Newtown (5-3), 7 p.m.: Beat Class LL Newtown and you might be worthy enough for the the Class S playoffs, Rebs.
OTHERS
Hartford Public (2-6) at Sheehan (5-3), 6:30 p.m.: You’ve done good, Harry. Bon Voyage and best wishes!
Weston (2-6) at East Haven (1-5), 7 p.m.: If nothing else, this is a good way for everybody to practice for their Thanksgiving rivalry games.
SATURDAY CCC
NWC (2-5) at Lewis Mills (3-5), Noon: Same with this game.
CTC
Northwest United (5-2) at Bullard/ Kolbe (3-5), Noon: NWU quietly has won four straight and a good shot to make it five.
Thames River (6-1) at Wilcox/Kaynor (0-7), 6 p.m.: After this, Thames River’s season comes down to games vs. ATI and Quinebaug with a Class L berth the prize.
ECC
Ledyard (6-2) at Woodstock (6-2), Noon: These two programs have come a long way to get here: a playoff-caliber game in mid-November.
Plainfield (4-3) at Stonington (4-4), 5 p.m.: The bloom sure has fallen off Stonington’s rose. But still, a good season considering.
Windham (3-4) at New London (4-3), 6:30 p.m.: Where’s this been all season, Whippets? Can they knock off the Whalers, too?
FCIAC
McMahon (3-4) at Darien (8-0), 1:30 p.m.: Everybody stay healthy for Thanksgiving.
Westhill (0-7) at St. Joseph (7-1), 11 a.m.: Same.
Stamford (0-8) at Greenwich (5-3), 1 p.m.: Same again.
PEQUOT
Haddam-Killingworth (2-5) at CREC (1-7), 11 a.m.: H-K playing better, but now takes to to the road until next year.
Valley Regional/Old Lyme (2-5) at OSW (0-6), 11 a.m.:
Valley has plenty of opportunity to finish strong.
Cromwell/Portland (7-0) at Coginchaug/Hale Ray/East Hampton (5-2), 1 p.m.: Coginchaug’s in trouble if can’t pull this off. C/P can clinch Sassacus title and a Class S berth.
SMSA (3-4) at Windsor Locks/Suffield/East Granby (1-6), 1 p.m.:
Just work on getting better for next year, fellas.
SCC Amity (4-3) at Harding (4-5), 10 a.m.:
Spartans are a 3-point OT loss to Sheehan and a 1-point loss to New Milford from gumming up the works in Class L.

Stratford (3-5) at Notre Dame-Fairfield (5-2), Noon:
Just win and pray, Lancers. Win and pray.
Pomperaug (0-7) at Barlow (5-3), 1 p.m.: Barlow’s had plenty of chances this year. At least Shaban is just a junior...
